Play Do Learn’s LEGO® robot assault course workshops are ideal for schools and museums, providing a great blend of creative and technical challenges.

Aimed at 5 – 11 year olds, the pace of the workshop can be adapted for the group’s ages and abilities by our experienced facilitators. All of our LEGO activities can be tailored to your school or museum, but our typical robot assault course workshop runs in this format:

  • Participants are split in to teams, and asked to build obstacles from LEGO bricks
  • With a pre-built robot base, they are asked to adapt a basic robotic kit to be able to travel through the assault course, adding defences and other items to help the robot survive the course
  • Teams then undertake the assault course they’ve built with their robots in a relay-style race to finish

Other LEGO robotics workshops offered by Play Do Learn include sumo-style LEGO robots battling it out, and LEGO WeDo Robotics workshops designed to ease children in to programming and logic.

Our LEGO workshop costs include a DBS checked facilitator, LEGO hire and travel costs, giving you everything you need for a great day of LEGO activities!
