Workshops for museums

Frequently Asked Questions about our workshops

Here are the answers to a number of frequently asked questions and queries we receive about our workshops.

What is the aim of a workshop?

The aim of a workshop varies, depending on the target audience. Our museum workshops tend to be used as an activity to attract new visitors and complement a particular exhibition or collection. School workshops can be used to reinforce new topics with a hands-on activity, or as a wellbeing exercise.

Can you run a custom workshop?

Yes, we’re happy to discuss workshops to cover a topic we don’t currently cover: please get in touch!

Are you covered by Public Liability Insurance?

Yes, all of our workshop facilitators are covered by Public Liability Insurance (PLI) policies, with a cover level of £5 million.

Are your workshop facilitators DBS checked?

Yes, our facilitators all have recent (from the past 15 months) DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) checks. These were previously known as CRB checks. These are available on request.
